Future Executive Sr. Director Menina Givens joined Mary Kay in August 1994 while working her full time career as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representitive for Merck. She has been married to her husband, Quentin, for 26 years and has two incredible sons, Tyler, 26 and Dylan 23.
In June 1995 just 10 short months after joining the company, she picked up the keys to her first car, a FREE Red Pontiac Grand Am and debuted 3 months later as a Sales Director in October 1995. They reached Fabulous 50’s Unit status within their first 2 months! Menina has been a member of both the National Court of Sales & the National Court of Sharing, receiving 2 spectacular 1-carat diamond bumblebees as well as a 1ct diamond ring. She has earned the use of 14 free career cars, 11 of which have been Pink Cadillac's and is awaiting delivery of her brand new POWERFUL, PLUSH, 2021 XT6 PINK CADILLAC PLUS! Menina’s Million Dollar Dream Team has been recognized in the Circle of Achievement 23 times including the $300,000, $350,000, $400,000, $450,000, $550,000 and $600,000 in Unit Retail Sales! They have also completed the Circle of Excellence at $650,000 or more in retail sales 7 times with their highest year being $767,000! Menina has earned 5 Star all-expense paid Top Director Trips to Beijing, China, Maui, Hawaii, London, England, an Alaskan Cruise, Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Kahala Resort on the Island of Oahu and this year 2020, in lieu of the trip she earned to Scotland, she was awarded a $10,000 CASH BONUS! She has received sparkling 1-carat diamond bar pins at each of these levels and in addition been awarded with 5 spectacular 3.5 Carat Diamond Rings, a 50 inch Plasma HDTV with a home theater surround sound system, and selected a cash prize of $3750 seven times in lieu of a diamond ring. Her greatest honor was that of being voted by her peers, as Miss Go-Give for the Pearl Division for February 2005. Menina has been featured in several Mary Kay publications including the Director’s Recognition Memo, Career Path & Career Car Program Brochures, and has graced the cover of Mary Kay’s National “Applause” Magazine. She and her sister, Martica, were both featured in the “Look” Book, and her full story was featured in the Applause Magazine. In addition, Menina and her family were featured in the company's Imagine The Possibilities Team Building Video, The Mary Kay Experience Video and her picture even scrolled for 2 months above the Good Morning America set in Time Square for Mary Kay’s “I Can” Campaign! Menina’s highest commission check (not including her sales) was $17,551 in one month. With the help of her Mary Kay business, she was able to become debt free, paying off over $20,000 of credit card debt and all of her student loans + put both sons through college with no student loans! She and her Million Dollar Dream Team are going to ELEVATE this year to become a MILLION DOLLAR UNIT as they EXCEL-erate and build their EXCEL NATIONAL AREA!
